Industrial timber
Industrial timber in dense African hardwoods (azobé, okan and tali) for marine and port works, and as crane mats, cribbing and skids for oil and gas. Naturally durable, with no chemical treatment needed for most uses.
Azobé (also called ekki), okan and tali are dense West and Central African hardwoods with high strength, stiffness and natural resistance to rot, fungi and termites. Azobé is also used in marine work because it resists marine borers.
We supply them as piles, fendering, jetty decking and beams for ports and coastal works, and as crane mats, cribbing, pipeline skids and outrigger pads for oil and gas and heavy-lift contractors, in standard sizes or cut to drawings.
